A ray of light touches my face,
Gone, is the ocean of darkness,
Now is the time I must embrace -
I enter the gleaming beam,
Overwhelming warmth obsorbs me,
Together we stand and gleam!
Until, the light begins to burn,
Sudden fire between it and me,
Away from me it does turn.
Dawn is far past - here comes the sunset,
The dancing sun could not last,
And as it all fades I forget.
